Discera’s silicon oscillators are the first to deliver 10 ppm accuracy for consumer applications
Semiconductor-grade reliability of 2.6 billion hour MTBF is over 2x better than MEMS industry, over 20x better than crystal oscillators.
Discera, Inc., the leading provider of silicon timing technology announced the production availability of 10 ppm versions of its DSC1001 low jitter and the DSC8001 programmable silicon oscillators. These oscillators are the first silicon timing products to deliver 10 ppm accuracy at up to 85 degrees Celsius as required by ultra-compact and mobile consumer electronics and computing products. They are also the first to deliver this level of performance in a consumer grade product to improve the quality and stability of high definition video applications and wireless communications.
