Boston Microfluidics secures $100,000 new financing
Boston Microfluidic’s (BMF) core technology is a mechanical system for automating complex sample collection and processing.
It is a simple device that can be used by an untrained operator to process whole blood from a fingerstick. The sample can be collected anywhere in the world for immediate point-of-care testing or for ambient temperature transport to a lab. The intuitive user interface coupled with proprietary fluidic elements address sample processing needs while requiring no training and minimal intervention by the operator. Filtering, mixing, diluting, and preserving are performed automatically without a phlebotomist or lab technician. Sources :
