• This is the second Hanergy’s acquisition of CIGS manufacturer, after purchasing German Solibro (Q-Cells)

Hanergy paid a ridiculously low amount of money for a company that raised about $500 million since its founding in 2004.

This acquisition is quite surprising while the technology used by MiaSolé (sputtering, roll-to-roll process, flexible stainless-steel substrate) is very different from that used by Solibro (coevaporation, sheet-to-sheet process, rigid glass substrate).
