  • This cooperation is focused on Photovoltaic Materials Supply & Technology Collaboration
  • The agreement with Trina follows the DuPont and Yingli Energy agreement signed in February 2012.

The agreements cover the supply of DuPont™ Tedlar® polyvinyl fluoride films and technology collaboration, including collaborative efforts involving DuPont™ Solamet® photovoltaic metallizations and other key materials.  The companies will work together to advance the efficiency and lifetime of solar cells and modules, and lower the levelized cost of energy for photovoltaics.  Terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Anticipated areas of technology collaboration for Trina and DuPont include higher efficiency cells and modules, customized Solamet® photovoltaic metallization pastes and other materials to help enable Trina’s technology platforms including its high-efficiency Honey Series modules, as well as innovative framing, backsheet and other components.
