IMU obtains orders for air mouse modules from Japan-based telecom carriers
IMU Solutions, a Taiwan-based MEMS application developer, has received orders for air mouse modules for use in wireless controllers of set-top boxes (STBs) from Japan-based telecom carriers, with shipments expected to each 200,000 by the end of 2012, according to the company.

IMU has adopted accelerometers, gyroscopes and electronic compasses supplied by international vendors for developing MEMS applications, including air mouse modules, company president Ni Tsang-der indicated.
