Master bond UV curable adhesives, sealants, coatings, and potting & encapsulation compounds
Master Bond UV curable bonding, sealing, coating, and potting & encapsulation compounds are one component systems that require no weighing or mixing prior to use. They are designed to speed productivity, eliminate waste, save energy, increase efficiency, and improve reliability.
Environmentally safe, these compounds emit no volatiles or vapors during cure. They remain stable even after prolonged storage at room temperature until exposed to a UV light source, virtually eliminating pot life problems. Remarkably fast curing with standard UV cure equipment, these systems will greatly enhance your production speed. In most applications, cure speeds within a couple of seconds are common. When adhering heat-sensitive substrates, the risk of damage from transient thermal exposures is removed. With a UV product line based on epoxies, urethanes, polyesters and acrylics, our wide variety of formulations will meet most any application requirement. These systems are offered in a number of viscosities, cure speeds, hardnesses, strengths, and optical properties, and feature such traits as chemical resistance, thermal stability, and electrical insulation. In addition, special formulations have outstanding resistance to sterilants, abrasion, temperature, and yellowing, and are certified USP Class VI and NASA low outgassing. Our compounds are presently employed in the medical, electronics, appliance, optical, photonic, military, and transportation industries. Applications range from bonding lenses, voice coils, magnets, syringes, and catheters to alternators, LED's, headlamps, sensors, wire tacking and connectors. To learn more, contact us today.
