COWIN reinforces its presence at the Smart Systems Integration Conference (SSI 2012) in Zurich on 21st and 22nd March 2012 with more activities. This year COWIN provides its Marketplace matchmaking services directly on its booth. The SSI conference is one of the major events in Europe in the Smart Systems area and offers thus an attractive panel of potential partners from the academia and the industry to boost smart systems innovative projects to market.

Given the success of the first COWIN Marketplace, which took place during the Euripides Forum in June 2011 in Helsinki, COWIN decided to go on with this concept and to extend its support activities to the participants of the Smart Systems Integration Conference 2012. During the last edition, over 50 individual meetings have been organised, bringing together representatives from the academia and the industry to generate new business opportunities based on the “gold-nuggets” technologies developed in the course of the FP6/7 projects and leading to the identification of more than 20 concrete potential collaborations.
