This colloquium aims at presenting the national and European programs in the field of energy with a special focus on calls related to Nanotechnologies and the expected gains, likewise some scientific and industrial challenging breakthrough towards renewable energies.

Some progress achieved during the last decade thanks to nanotechnologies and their potentialities will be presented. A significant part of oral presentations will be dedicated to industrials in the domain.
