Neo Solar Power announces high-efficiency solar cell “NeoMono” based on quasi-mono silicon wafer
 
Neo Solar Power Corporation launched its new high-reliability and high-efficiency solar cell “NeoMono”.

  • Quasi-mono wafer material promises high cell efficiencies at lower manufacturing costs
  • Average efficiency over 18%
  • Maximum efficiency reaching 18.5%

The 6-inch NeoMono cell has conversion efficiency reaching 18.5%, and average efficiency over 18%. The NeoMono – the fruition of years of exceptional experiences in manufacturing reliable and high-efficiency products at NSP - has less Cell to Module Loss (CTM Loss) and Light Induced Degradation (LID), compared with conventional mono-crystalline cells.

The NeoMono offers a more cost effective alternative to conventional mono-crystalline cells for 60-cell panels to reach 250~260W output and 72-cell panels to reach 300~310W output, ideal for installations on the rooftop and on the ground.

Besides, NSP also offers a total solution to alleviate Potential-Induced Degradation (PID) to answer the industry’s call for steady long-term power generating performance. The solution is being verified by customers.
