OSI Systems Inc., a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the security and healthcare industries, announced that OSI Optoelectronics has been awarded a multi-year contract valued at approximately $3.9 million from a major defense company for detectors.

OSI Optoelectronics detectors are utilized in a wide variety of defense guidance and control applications for naval vessels and submarines, aircraft, military ground vehicles, space satellites and launch vehicles, missiles and guided munitions.
