The conference will again take place in Adlershof, Berlin, Germany.
The Thin-Film sector is facing the challenge of moving past the cost advantage and towards demonstrating its unique benefits for the future of energy production.
The Thin-Film Industry Forum 2013 will give a comprehensive assessment of the current situation in the thin-film sector. Where did the industry come from, where is it now and where is it headed?
This outlook encompasses all the current issues around Thin-Film technology – from the political environment through market growth expectations, finance and bankability, to production matters, quality assurance and future applications of the technology. The Thin-Film Industry Forum will form a key event that will bring the players of the solar industry together with representatives from politics, the financial world, the press and the industry’s suppliers. Leading scientists and leading companies from the thin-film industry are supporting this unique event.
The Thin Film Industry Forum is part of the 5th Photovoltaic Thin-Film week (16-18 April 2013) - the world’s unique week dedicated exclusively to thin-film photovoltaics.
Both experts from R&D as well as executives and managers from the solar industry will meet at this international event in Adlershof. Thus, the PV Thin-Film Week creates an exceptional bridge between science and industry.
The PV Thin-Film Week is a joint event organized by Solarpraxis, PVcomB (Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin) and TU Berlin.
For the first time, the Thin-Film Week will cooperate with the IDTechEx Printed Electronics Europe 2013 event being held in Berlin on 17 - 18 April. The co-located SolarPraxis, PVcomB, TU Berlin and IDTechEx Photovoltaics conference track on April 18 will form an additional part of the thin-film week, bringing together the solar and printed electronics industry in order to discuss the current opportunities and issues of both sectors.
