Taifo said it will launch 100Mbps/100Mbps and 300Mbps/300Mbps FTTH services at monthly charge rates of NT$899 (US$30) and NT$1,299 respectively, lower than NT$1,108 and NT$1,699 offered by Chunghwa Telecom for the same FTTH services.

Taifo plans to have its FTTH network cover 36% of households around the city by the end of 2014 and increase the coverage to 60% by the end of 2015.

Taifo has paid-in capital of NT$1.31 billion, with Tai Tung Communication and Foxconn Electronics holding 50% and 28% stakes respectively.
