Axiom IC of Enschede, the Netherlands, was founded in 2007 as a spinoff of the University of Twente.

While continuing to serve external customers, Axiom will provide additional resources to benefit both our digital imaging and electronic test and measurement instrumentation businesses,” said Robert Mehrabian, who is chairman, president and CEO of Teledyne.

Axiom’s design complements Teledyne Dalsa’s knowledge of “CMOS image sensor design, high-voltage driver chips for MEMS and embedded software development,” said Teledyne Dalsa CEO Brian Doody.

Teledyne Dalsa, a Teledyne Technologies subsidiary, manufactures digital imaging products, semiconductors, and MEMS products and services.
