Yole Développement is proud to publish the reverse costing report of the Thermal Imaging Camera : FLIR i7 from FLIR Systems.

This model was announced as the smallest, lightest and most affordable thermal imaging cameras on the market. It offer an image quality of 120x120 pixels and a maximum weight of 365 grams.

The camera integrates a Flir ISC0601B micro-bolometer, a germanium infrared optical lens and a main electronic board in a small and compact housing. The system, with accessories is supplied in a rigid transport case.

Based on a complete teardown analysis, the report provides an estimation of the production cost as well as the selling price of the product.
