The world is going through a quantum revolution. The purpose of the EPIC Industrial Quantum Photonics Technology Summit is to bring together the companies in the supply chain towards the commercialization of upcoming products resulting of the current R&D initiatives.
According to the EU Quantum Technologies Flagship, as well as many other initiatives worldwide in Quantum technologies, there are 4 main application areas in which a paradigm shift is expected: quantum communication, quantum simulation, quantum computing and quantum metrology.

QUANTUM COMPUTERS expected to perform tasks that are intractable for conventional machines. Future quantum computers will be able to perform calculations in seconds for which the current supercomputers could take millions of years.
QUANTUM COMMUNICATIONS NETWORKS fully secure against hacking.
