Executive 3D Sensing for Consumers Forum – Envision the Future

On sept. 5th Yole Développement (Yole) and the China International Optoelectronics Exhibition (CIOE) organized the second edition of the Executive 3D Sensing for Consumers Forum.

The forum offered to more than 110 attendees a unique place in the world where leading companies could share their vision of the 3D sensing industry, evaluate the related applications and technologies with a focus on consumer market, and identify business opportunities.

With presentations from ams, Orbbec, Oxford Instruments, Sony, Schott, System Plus Consulting and Yole Développement, the forum provided a better understanding of this transformational technology for the consumer electronics industry. Indeed, “at Yole, we expect the global 3D imaging & sensing market to expand from US$2.1 billion in 2017 to US$18.5 billion in 2023, at a 44% CAGR”, explains Pierre Cambou, Principal Analyst at Yole. “Along with consumer, automotive, industrial, and other high-end markets will also experience a double-digit growth pattern.” The forum was just the right place to be!

A special thanks to the speakers and attendees to make it a success this year again!
