About i-Micronews
What is the purpose of i-Micronews ?
i-Micronews is the Media Activity of Yole Group of Companies. With i-Micronews, we want to help you to follow the last trends news in the semiconductor industry and get an understanding of the industry evolution.
Our Analysts share on a daily basis the significant news they find, articles they write and interviews they conduct in order to offer you the most updated and interesting information of your industry and your field of expertise.
With i-Micronews, we also want to help your to discover emerging markets and technologies and identify business opportunities.
What editorial line does i-Micronews follow ?
Through a daily watch, our Analysts identify market and technology news that impact their related industries evolution. News shared come from official sources such as press releases or articles from companies’ websites.
Analysts regularly write articles sharing their opinion and vision in their area of expertise. They also interview majors’ players to complete, develop their analysis.
At last, we publish our events feedbacks to provide you an overview on an events, conferences, webcasts that have happened. You can then access to Yole Group Analysts’ presentations once registered.
Can I send you press releases and editorial contributions related to my company activities?
We would be pleased to receive content from your company and activities as long as it is related to our fields of expertise.
Yole Group of companies including PISEO, System Plus Consulting and Yole Développement also proposes you to provide you market data, technology trends and/or quotes from our analysts for your press releases. This service is free of charge. Our aim is to support your company within your press actions.

How can I access presentations and videos related to Yole’s Analysis?
When loggued, you have access to all presentations made by our Analysts during Tradeshows and Conferences. You can find them in the News and Articles section, through the Event Feedbacks category. In the same way, our Webcasts’ videos are shared one month after they happened.
If you attended an Event (Webcast, Techdays…), you can access the Event feedbacks directly from your personal space and get the presentations and video (public version).
What kind of partnership or advertisement do i-Micronews offer?
Yole Group of Companies, through its Media activities i-Micronews, is open to discussion to implement various kind of agreements.
If your activities meet our areas of expertise we would be pleased to discuss a media, event or webcast partnership. We also offer allocated spaces in the website to promote your company or products. All the communication tools that we offer are detailed in our Media Kit.

How do your Analysts make the reports?
Our team of 60+ experts (PhDs, MBAs, industry veterans…) from Yole Développement, System Plus Consulting and PISEO, collect information, identify the trends, the challenges, the emerging markets, the competitive environments and turn it into results to give you a complete picture of your industry landscape.
In the past 20 years, we worked on more than 1 700 projects, interacting with technology professional and high-level opinion makers from the main players of the industry.
What is the format of our reports?
Our reports are designed in PowerPoint and delivered on a PDF format. Most of our reports include an Excel file with data included in the report. Our reports are sent through a secure download link.
What are the Market, Technology and Strategy reports published by Yole Développement?
Yole Développement (Yole) offers market reports including quantitative market forecasts, technology trends, company strategy evaluation and indepth application analyses. Yole publish each year more than 50 reports, with our partner PISEO contributing to some of the lighting reports.
What are the Reverse Costing ® – Structure, Process and Cost Analysis reports published by System plus Consulting?
The Reverse Costing report developed by System Plus Consulting provides full teardowns, including detailed photos, precise measurements, material analyses, manufacturing process flows, supply chain evaluations, manufacturing cost analyses and selling price estimations.

How can I be informed about your new reports?
We invite you to create an account on our website and subscribe to our emailing campaigns.
You will have the possibility to select your area of interests among our markets and thematics in order to receive only information that you want; emailing include new reports announcements, events and webcasts invitations and our weekly e-newsletter.
Can I use your slides in my presentations?
We ask you to contact our Public Relation Director, Sandrine Leroy at leroy@yole.fr to discuss the conditions of use and see how we can help you to have the most updated data.
Can I share the reports with my colleagues?
Sharing the reports within your company is possible depending on the license that you selected when buying the report. For the reports, 2 different licenses are proposed.
- One user license: the report is intended for only one identified user at the company purchasing the report – Sharing is strictly forbidden.
- Multi-users license: the report can be shared by the identified user of the company purchasing the report with an unlimited number of employees of said company. However, these rights are limited to the country of the identified user. Subsidiaries and joint-ventures are excluded.
Online order, Payment and Delivery
What is the difference between a one and a multi-users license when buying a report?
- One user license: the report is intended for only one identified user at the company purchasing the report – Sharing is strictly forbidden .
- Multi-users license: the report can be shared by the identified user of the company purchasing the report with an unlimited number of employees of said company. However, these rights are limited to the country of the identified user. Subsidiaries and joint-ventures are excluded.
We also offer a Corporate license accessible from our Bundle Offer:
- Corporate license: the report can be shared by the identified user of the company purchasing the report with an unlimited number of employees of said company on a global basis. Subsidiaries are included, while joint-ventures are excluded. Nothing herein is intended to prevent the Yole Group of Companies from offering to sell a report to an employee who shall place an order with Yole Group of Companies for such purpose.
Do you have special prices or discount policy?
With our Bundled Offer, you can choose a minimum of three reports from Yole Group of Companies, and receive a discount of at least 36% on the bundle. You then have up to 12 months to select the required reports from the Yole Développement ans System Plus Consulting offering.
Can I order only part of your reports?
It is not possible to order only one or several parts of our reports. You have to purchase the entire report to get a full picture of the industry and its situation and challenges.
What are the payment methods?
Two payment methods are possible: wire transfer and credit card.
Moreover, three currencies are available when purchasing online: Euros (€), Dollars ($) and Japanese Yen (¥). Present-day exchange rate will apply when selecting your currency’s choice.
Report is sent once your payment has been validated.
How will I receive my reports?
For Yole Développement reports, you will receive a direct secure link once the report is available.
For reports published by System Plus Consulting, the Company will directly send you the purchased report(s).
